Spend a day at the Elephant Nature Park and learn about the rescued and orphaned elephants that live there. See how they became a proud herd, now free from abuse. They are not ridden and enjoy living peacefully for the first time in their lives. Bathing the elephants in the river is a really special experience and you'll also meet other rescued animals that live at the park.
Stray does not endorse the mistreatment of animals and Elephant Nature Park has been reviewed by our staff and is genuinely a rescue centre for elephants who have been abused or mistreated. It is a wonderful place to see these gentle giants while contributing to their rehabilitation. We heartily recommend doing research before choosing an elephant camp to visit, as some can be very exploitative for the animals.

Elephant tourism has long attracted people to Thailand because of the unique opportunity to interact with these creatures. But can we combine this with ethical considerations and make this sustainable and beneficial for these animals?
